Last Chemo

imageHi all! It’s so hard to remember to post when things are going so well. Bentley is doing absolutely GREAT! He had hi let chemo on September 22!!!! I can’t believe he went through 8 rounds already. In three weeks he gets re screened and I can’t help but think he is going to be cancer free. The other day he made it on a 3 mile wak and didn’t even lie down once! I can’t believe how far he has come being a tripawd. It makes me feel silly for worrying so much when they told me they had to remove his leg. I am so grateful to this website though for helping us get through everything. Everyone on here is a miracle. Hopefully I will have more good news to relay after his re screening.

  1. Oh Bentley!! What an inspiration you are! Love the pic of your happy boy! 🙂 Reading how well he did with chemo brings me tears of joy, especially since my girl has been struggling after only one treatment. It’s unbelievable to think one day she could walk 3 miles again!! I cannot even fathom that right now. Thank you Bentley for giving Kylie some continued hope xox Keep up the good work!

    1. I’m so sorry to hear Kylie isn’t doing well with the chemo. They had to keep lowering bents dose and he gets clavamox after each round because his blood cell count was always low even though he acted fine. If Kylie gets tired a few days after the chemo that’s normally. Bent would normally sleep all day on day 3. We wil pray for you and Kylie for better health!

  2. I hope handsome Bentley continues to make great progress and to enjoy a cancer-free life. Our pit bull girl (6 years old) usually wants to stop & lie down at least once on our 1.5–2 miles walks, especially in warm weather. We usually bring water along. Best of luck to Bentley & yourself.
